Haters gonna hate

Dernière mise à jour : 15 avr. 2020

Hello everyone!

Today I wanted to talk about shamelessness on social medias, and specifically about a personality that divided the French population: Bilal Hassani

ree

Bilal Hassani is a young French youtuber not only known for his videos and songs but also for the fact that he’s not ashamed to show the world his homosexuality and his self-acceptation. Three years ago, on June 23rd Bilal did his coming out, and revealed to his community his homosexuality on social medias. Starting on this day Bilal is not ashamed to show who he truly is and encourage his community to not fear what the others might think about us. He wears make up and wigs and be the Bilal he wants to be, the Bilal he’s been hiding, the one he truly is.

After his coming out Bilal received (and is still receiving) a lot of hate and homophobic comments like:

“Are you serious son of a b****? You’re a shame for mans” // “You’re a shame for your country, go f*** yourself” // “May God be with you and gets you back in the right path, may protect us from becoming like you” // “I want to beat him up”

Bilal answered to those comments during several videos with a lot of humor and tried to not take them seriously, but he always points out that he receives these kinds of homophobic and threats of death comments and messages every single day. Even with the hate he’s receiving Bilal keeps having fun and is a good example for everyone. As long as you know who you are believe in yourself and are not ashamed of yourself, no matter what haters are telling you, you can be happy and live the way you want.

Bilal become an inspiration in self-confidence for a lot of French.

Thank you for reading our blog and remember to love yourself no matter what! See you soon for another article!
