Today, body shaming affects 94% of teenagers, however women are the most affected.
Body shaming consists in mocking, criticizing, blaming, humiliating the physique of an individual considered too fat, too skinny, too muscular or not enough.
When internet users assume their bodies, the humiliation on social networks is even more serious. Humiliation is a very common practice today and is assimilated to harassment.
Body shaming or fat shaming are practices that create feelings of shame, low self-esteem and loss of confidence.
You should know that each of us has a different body, some will find it ugly but other beautiful. First of all, you need to love yourself, and accept yourself as you are.

Some women even launched the #bodypositive movement, they don’t hesitate to display their imperfections : their cellulite, their shapes, their faces without makeup etc. As well as “plus size” models, their community grows for greater self-acceptance. We notice it during fashion shows and advertising posters with different looks from each other.
You have to learn to love yourself, quickly and strongly, to realize that beauty is imperfection, not the smooth image of glossy paper or a photo edited in three clicks. Because the best answer to stupidity is to ignore it, and because to take responsibility, in the era of generalized body shaming, is the most beautiful act of rebellion there is !
