After the #bodypositive, we need to talk about #skinpositivity.
We all know this wonderful selfie from an Instagram influencer who “just woke up”, but behind this publication hides a secret. Well, still many internet users are naive, they should know that either makeup, or filters have been used, or that photo has been edited.

Today editing/photoshopping a picture on your phone is almost as simple as peeling a banana, removing stretch marks, and cellulite was not enough, pimples had to be hidden.
But how did we get here? Look at your grandparents' photo albums, nothing is a scam in it, everything is true, everything is sincere and that's what we like.
Social media has made us scams, and has censored all of our flaws that make us who we are. We have come to be ashamed of our imperfections. Hidden behind editing or excessive makeup to perfect our image.
Why not show who you really are? why not be loved for who we really are?
These are all netizens who criticize the natural beauty of a woman who should be to blame.
In recent years, thousands of women have made their mark thanks to #bodypositive but also to #skinpositivity. Many women suffering from skin problems such as acne, exzema or rosacea have abandoned summer photo edits sharing natural images.

Especially encouraged by influencers or models such as Kendall Jenner who also has suffered many criticisms for her acne.
We must not be ashamed of what we are, certainly some have a hard time accepting their bodies, their skins but this new movement makes it possible to encourage them and help them to assume full responsibility.
Today, there are more than 54,000 publications with testimonies all more inspiring and courageous than the others.

In this movement of influence we find the American youtuber « Em Ford », who in 2015 posted a video which denounced the hateful comments she received about her skin.

In France, there is the youtuber « Marie Lopez » AKA (ou also known as) « Enjoyphoenix », suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome which leads to a fight against acne. She explained that she had tried different treatments but that today she has decided to learn to accept herself.
Many influencers have also posted photos of them with the #nomakeup to encourage young women to accept themselves and not pay attention to criticism. No longer to be ashamed.

I like your article, it shows the bottom of social networks. Influencers should be more natural because we will identify more and this will help us accept ourselves. ;)
